LAKE AGCO HISTORY
Lake Agco or Lake Agko is one of the notorious destinations in Kidapawan City. Some call this place as Eden of Kidapawan which it's indeed and no wonder because it's located at the bottom ofMt. Apo, the loftiest mountain in the Philippines, towering at bases above ocean position. This paradise is a home of 272 catcalls species further than 40 percent of which is aboriginal in this area, a home of our public raspberry the Philippine Eagle. A place that was covered with innumerous figures of foliage species.
Lake Agco is one of the four major lakes inMt. Apo including Lake Venado. Away from the difference in position which Lake Venado stands elevated at 7200 bases above ocean position and Lake Agco stands elevated at 4200 bases above ocean position making it more accessible to sightseer. Lake Agco produce a difference from the other three as it's a storming blue lake from which you can see and smell the boiling sulfur from the lake itself. Around it's the amazing collision of hot and cold springs.
Base on my own experience I would say that this place is a paradise that hopefully won't be ruined by the growth of tourism and commercialism which goes together. I love visiting this place, taking down so important pleasure of being suitable to witness the real beauty of the nature and indulge its unequivocal serenity.
Lake Agco's boiling slush lake is substantiation that Mt Apo is a flash point, the water is hotted by the underpinning stormy reflections to near boiling point and is rich with minerals similar as sulfur, which is known tothe indigenous people with its medicinal value. Lake Agco is where hot and cold springs meet and support Mahomanoy Mountain Resort as its main source of water. The lake together with resort erected with in its vicinity created a unique air of a abecedarian and isolated paradise. This lake was considered to be the incarnation of earth's natural energy and its power of creating colorful physical and natural goods that becomes a treat to its callers making them feel of being cockered by Mother Nature.
I ’ve only been there thrice but every time I was there I really feel like heaven is just beside me. The cool wind and the sounds of the water falls and singing of catcalls are incredibly relaxing. The place was far from the noise pollution of the megacity life; it's way too far from the gaunt view of civic life. I would largely recommend this place for RVs and those that want to witness a different position of calmness other than being in a sand, those who want to witness the remedial effect of this place and continue indulging the view and awful effects around similar as brume from the calm face of the lake reaching towards the trees around.
