Uraya Beach Resort Samal Island Garden |
|
Uraya Beach Resort is located in Samal Island Garden Davao del Norte (Philippines, Mindanao) and also this is one of my best beach resort, Uraya is wide, windy and cold (mornings) and no boundaries unlike the other beach resorts in Samal Island having boundaries or walls on sides every next beach resorts. You can do also parlor games, play with your drone, taking pictures to the mangrove trees or driving a jets ki (personal) and also you can saw the island called the wishing island (you can get to wishing island by island hopping). I suggest you to choose this place as your first time beach traveler here in Samal.

HISTORY OF SAMAL
In the early times, Samal Island was settled by indigenous people coming from the northern and eastern beachfronts of the concentrated Davao Province. A large mixed population of Mansakas, Mandayas and Muslims composed the identification of the now so called Sama lineage.
As these ancient settlers were organized into communities they were dynastically ruled by a Datu up the early part of the American governance.
In the early part of the 18th century governance shifted when Christianization came by.
As an archipelago, Samal came a District Municipality of Davao Province. Latterly, in three time time Megacity of Babak and thirteen times after Megacity of Kaputian were created. Each external name deduced from each different literal tagging and so with the barangays with in their governance.
The alternate quarter which is the government center of the megacity got its quarter name Samal from the early indigenous settlers forming into one lineage called “ Isama"and its barangay name Peñaplata from the Isama term “ Malibasa” which means a place where honorable people living in perfect harmony who loved peace that they knew no war. First quarter deduced its name Babak from an abundant shrubs called “ Tagbak” grown in the area which were used as land mark for the people’s trade center. White Sand in original shoptalk “ Puting Balas” is significantly true to the plages of the third quarter from which its name Kaputian deduced.
In the early agreement of the islet, there were no given surveyed roads except trails and pathways bisecting the tableland areas. Thick timber and green land covered the islet’s abecedarian soil.
The Isamas are by occupation growers and fishers using old fashioned and crude styles of agrarian husbandry and fishing. Their products were contained in baskets woven by their own hand trades, raw accoutrements of which are abundantly grown in the islet and transported by means of running and through beast driven wagons in the in- land and sculled bancas as the water transport. Trade system was their traditional profitable enterprise.
The coming of the Christian from the different Businesses of Luzon and Visayas and from the other corridor of Mindanao, introduced extemporized styles of husbandry and fishing. Further pastoralist lands were acquired and cultivated.
Further developments and agreements happed, population continue to grow as times passed by until the time that Samal Island was tapped as one of the government tourism zones.
Samal Island is one of the seven thousand tropical islets in the Philippines with a larger number of noble strands complete with soft white coral beach, rustling coconut triumphs and gently lapping turquoise water. A number of natural aqueducts and grottoes are strategically located within the islet.
