Have not experienced yet about Hot Spring? Well this is the perfect time to share this place on you. Must try the Mainit Sulfuric Hot Spring (Waterfall) located in Mawab Maco Compostela Valley, by this place Mainit Sulfuric is having a different entrance fee. If you are not part of their residency you can pay the entrance fee a bit higher, and if you are part of their residency well you've discounted entrance fee. Note that I cannot tell you the exact amount of their entrance fees since my trip on there was year 2018. The entrance fee is not accurate due to this season 2020 to present, you know what I mean.

As I experienced, it's a bit large hot spring (stones color yellow or creamy white?), and yes it's very hot flowing water and it feels good on bathing with your pains. I'm almost not to step on there because of the hot temperature of the water (it's my first time bathing on this springs). You may also rent a property as well to leave your things and they have also stores to buy goods or foods and also drinks. Swear can't believe it's very relaxing to take a bath on that spring, my pains are gone during a long road travel. I suggest, better to go bath on mornings (5:30am to 6am LOL). It's worth it!

HISTORY OF COMPOSTELA VALLEY

Compostela Valley is a fiefdom of the Philippines located in the Davao Region in Mindanao. The fiefdom, called Comval for short, used to be part of Davao del Norte until it was made independent in 1998. It's the third newest fiefdom of the Philippines, behind Dinagat Islets and Zamboanga Sibugay. Its capital is Nabunturan. The fiefdom borders Davao del Norte to the west, Agusan del Sur to the north, and Davao Oriental to the east. To the southwest lies the Davao Gulf. Its first tagged governor was counsel Jose Caballero who used to be a counsel for the mining group in the fiefdom.

Compostela Valley is blessed with nature's magnific workshop of art. It brims with natural lodestones like strands, falls, timbers, mountain ranges, grottoes, lakes, gutters, hot and cold springs, all plant in the fiefdom. No wonder it stands as a strong sightseer spot in Mindanao and assemble a small bit in the tourism in the Philippines.
